Attributes of God Almighty – Part 1 – Sh Umar Farooq and Sh Hamza Yusuf

May 14, 2013

Tuesday 20130514 – The subject of God Almighty is the most noble of all subjects. This should be the ultimate concern of all human beings.  This series of discussions attempts to understand God The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful, according to the Islamic Doctrine.

Shaikh Umar Farooq Abdullah and Shaikh Hamza Yusuf, in their introduction to this incredible series, emphasised that the essence of knowledge is in the discovery of our Creator, Lord of all.  Moreover, the importance of making our knowledge meaningful was the supreme legacy of Islamic civilisation and it remains our task today.  They explained further that every religion is founded upon direct experience of Allah Almighty.
