Arafat Khutbah: Saudi Arabia Thanks Muslims for Supporting Kingdom’s COVID-19 Regulations for Hajj 1441/2020

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Suleiman Al-Manea, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and Adviser at the Royal Court has thanked Muslims around the world for respecting Saudi Arabia’s decisions about COVID-19 regulations pertaining to this years Hajj.

Sheikh Al-Manea was rendering the Hajj Khutbah (sermon) on Thursday.

A limited one thousand Hujjaj living in Saudi Arabia were accepted to perform Hajj this year as the Kingdom adopted necessary stringent measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus and keep Hujjaj safe and preserve human life during the pilgrimage.

Sheikh Al-Manea says Sharia came with directives that lead to preservation of health and safety as well as protection of societies from the spread of diseases and epidemics.

“Adversities faced remind human beings about the hereafter and prompt them to prepare for Jannah which contains no sorrows or adversities.”

Sheikh Al-Manea says the Kingdom appreciates all the support it has received from across the world.

He also made dua that Allah reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and HRH Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman for their efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques.

“I thank and hail Muslims’ positive role in responding to the state’s actions to protect them from spread of epidemic. Whoever makes prayers to his brother, Allah Almighty will reward him, especially in such holy sites.”

Sheikh Al-Manea says one of the greatest matters that bring goodness and blessings and prevent calamities is the sincere supplication and prayers to Almighty Allah.
