Lenasia Secondary School has confirmed that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, Lenz High principal HB Munshi says the staff member who tested positive has been absent from school from last week Friday.

“As a school, we have followed all the procedures and have informed the relevant authorities. As a precautionary measure, it has been decided that we will have to close the school until further notice. These measures have to be taken to ensure the health and safety of our learners and all staff members.”

Munshi says parents will be contacted via the D6 App informing them about when the school will be reopened.
