Masjid-un-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia will be gradually reopened to the public from Sunday following the approval from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

Saudi Gazette reports that the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has completed the plan to reopen Masjid-un-Nabawi under strict precautionary measures including limiting congregations to 40 percent of the masjid’s capacity at a time.

Worshippers will be allowed to enter the masjid from Fajr on Sunday morning.

In order to keep worshippers safe, musallah’s in Masjid-un-Nabawi will be removed from the courtyards.
