The Imam of the Haram says as the blessed month of Ramadan draws to a close, Muslims should reap the benefits of the remaining night.
Sheikh Dr. Bandar ibn Abdul Aziz Baleela was rendering the Khutbah in the Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on Friday last week.
Sheikh Baleela says Muslims should use the last few nights of the blessed month of Ramadan to increase their good deeds while maintaining good thoughts of Allah and it is only the Almighty that will help them through difficulty.
“The magnitude of effort and worship should be greater in these ten nights with the hope of attaining the night of power for certainly the one who has found the night of power has attained all goodness and the one who has been deprived of it, has been deprived of all goodness.”
He quoted a hadith in which it is narrated: “Whoever rises in worship on the night of power having belief in Allah and hope in his reward will have all his past sins forgiven.
“So seek the blessings of this night and beware that if this precious jewel falls from your hands, you will regret it forever.”
Sheikh Baleela made dua that Allah lifts the COVID-19 pandemic from the world.
