The Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Issam bin Abid Al-Thaqafi has bid farewell to a 130-year-old Indonesian national who will be performing hajj.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports Ohi Aidros Samri was invited by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to perform Hajj this year as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Hajj and Umrah Guests Program.
Ambassador Al-Thaqafi was reassured of the travel services provided for the elderly Indonesian and that he would be well looked after.
He has wished Aidros Samri and his family an easy and comfortable Hajj journey.
Aidros Samri will be landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has also sponsored 2,000 relatives of Yemeni soldiers killed in action to perform hajj this year as part of the guests hosting programme by Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
