Two high school learners have been shot and wounded at the M H Joosub Secondary School in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg.
It’s understood, the learners were standing outside the school on Tuesday when a vehicle with unknown occupants drove past and shot the duo.
Saaberie Chishty Ambulances Aboo Sayed says the learners suffered moderate injuries.
“At 8 o’ clock this morning, our control centre received a call that a learner was injured in a shooting incident which took place outside MHJ Secondary School in Lenasia. Our ambulances were dispatched to the scene and on the scene they found that there were two patients injured. Both these patients treated on the scene and they were transported to the nearby facilities.”
Sayed says authorities were on scene for further investigations.
