UUCSA Denounces Biggest Live Music Festival in Saudi Arabia

July 09, 2019

Radio Islam News – 09-07-2019

The United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA) has denounced the biggest live music festival set to take place at the King Abdullah Sports Stadium in Saudi Arabia.

The event which features singer Nicki Minaj is expected to be broadcast live to more than 100 countries across the globe.

In a statement, UUCSA says in its attempt to shake off the image of religious extremism and placate those that demand a sanitized version of religion acceptable to the West, Saudi Arabia is importing the worst form of moral decadence to its shores.

“The violation of the sanctity of the Hajj Season by the Custodians of Hajj is simply egregious. The epicentre of Divine revelation will now be disseminating what is antithetical to what the “House of Allah” symbolizes.”

Uucsa says the Music festival is the Trojan horse of entertainment designed to contaminate the most sacred and sanctified lands in the Muslim world and meant to lure, enslave and fleece Muslims of their faith, identity and sublime value system.
