Are you unemployed and looking for a job?

A new app has been launched that will bring prospective job seekers into contact with employers without going through the current cumbersome job application process.

MrEmploy is ideal for businesses of any size in retail, services, food, sales and entertainment environments, although any company can make use of it, including personnel employment agencies.

Using the app, a job seeker creates a profile which includes a standardised micro CV, a photograph and a 15-second video.

Candidates only see the jobs they qualify for and can give the “thumbs-up” to the positions they are interested in.

The prospective employer receives a notification and can scan the job seeker’s profile and view the candidate’s video in just a few seconds.

Speaking to Radio Islam, Mr Employ’s Ryan Oettle says the people behind the app are private business owners who wanted to make the hiring process simple.

“They realized that they just couldn’t get through the flood of CV’s that they were getting for every single job fast enough. They weren’t able to find quality candidates fast enough and they eventually decided there just has to be a way to revolutionize and simplify it.”

Mr Employ is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
