The third wudhu and Salaah Facility has been opened at the Afsaal picnic site at the Kruger National Park.
This follows the opening of similar facilities at the Skukuza and Lower Sabie camps a few months ago.
The historic project which was initiated by the SANParks Honorary Rangers Johannesburg South branch cost about 850k with various donors contributing to the project.
Like Skukuza and Lower Sabie, Afsaal features separate areas for men and women to make wudhu and read their salaah.
Construction of the remaining two Salaah facilities at Satara and Tshokwane are expected to be completed later this year.
The Afsaal wudhu and Salaah facility is located between the road and main retail area on the extreme right hand side as visitors enter the parking area.
SANParks Honourary Rangers Yusuf Dockrat has urged people to use the facility for its intended purpose while emphasizing that no prayer mats are provided and visitors should bring their own.
