Former SAA Captain Dissects The Lion Air Plane Crash In Indonesia

October 30, 2018

Radio Islam News – 2018/10/30

A former South African Airways captain says there had to be something catastrophic on board the Lion Air plane (JT 610) which crashed in to the Indonesian sea on Monday.

Speaking to Radio Islam, Carl Jansen says the fact that the crew asked to return to Jakarta raises a few questions.

“This means that there was something seriously wrong, because to turn back, you’ve got to have serious problems if you are required to turn back.”

A total of 24 body bags from the crash site have been taken to the hospital for post mortem examination, according to Indonesian authorities.
