October 09, 2018

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 09-10-2018

Limpopo police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was killed in plane crash in Lephalale.

It’s understood the pilot of the aircraft departed from Zwartwater farm to the Gauteng Province early Tuesday morning when the aircraft lost control.

The pilot has been identified by his family as 54-year-old Koot Human.

The police’s Moatshe Ngoepe says the cause of the accident is still unknown at this stage.

“Within few minutes after his departure the aircraft lost control and its front end crashed to the ground in the bushes around Enkelfontein farm, killing the pilot instantly.”

On Monday a light aircraft came down in a residential area in Vorna Valley, killing the pilot and a bystander.
