Police have bust a drug manufacturing lab on the East Rand seizing equipment, drugs and ingredients with an estimated value of a million Rand.
Its understood officers received information that drugs were being manufactured at a house in Sebenza on Wednesday.
Three people were arrested during the operation.
The police’s Kay Makhubele says the suspects are expected to appear in court soon on charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs.
“When the operation was conducted it was found that there are activities taking place in a house where they found drugs and the machines. So far they are worth millions of Rands. It led us to Tembisa where we also found some chemicals which are used to manufacture drugs.”
