Islam Being Watered Down & Repect for Qur’an Destroyed

August 26, 2018

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 26-08-2018

Travel presenter Muhammad Lambat says it’s very important for Muslims to preserve the deen of Islam to avoid it becoming watered down or deviating from what was taught to us by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Lambat was speaking on Radio Islam’s travel programme Globe Trotters on Sunday about how Islam had metamorphosed in some countries to what Allah speaks about in the Qur’an and what was revealed to the last Prophet of Islam (pbuh).

Lambat says Muslims should treasure Islam as taught to us by Nabi (saw) as opposed to questioning the deen.

“We have all these intellectuals that we have in our universities and clever jacks. They want to question the deen and bring new Islam into our blood, it doesn’t work that way. We came with whatever our ancestors came with from Indo Pak, they came with our deen Alhamdulillah. They may have had some part of it which was cultural, but it was respect of deen.”

Lambat also says that while there was a lot respect for Quran among the older generation, some of the younger Muslims have obliterated the respect for Allah’s holy book.

“Today I promise you, you go out to madrassa or you go out to Islamic schools or wherever, the respect for the Qur’an has totally been destroyed. You’ll find them carrying a Qur’an in a kitbag, in knapsack, in a shoulder bag which is below the waste. We see it all the time.”

Lambat says innovation has crept into Islam which has resulted true respect being lost for the deen.
