August 24, 2018

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 24-08-2018

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) says the kingdom looks forward to utilizing advanced technology in all aspects of hajj.

With just a few days left before the conclusion of the 2018/1439 Hajj season, Saudi Arabia hosted more than 2.3 million hujjaj from across the globe for Hajj.

Mofa says in line with its 2030 vision, it aims to reach 5 million people that will perform the hajj.

“We are working on an integral project to develop the holy sites and strive to achieve more success in serving pilgrims.”

Earlier, Makkah Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal thanked King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif for supervising this year’s Hajj season.

During the concluding press conference in Mina on Thursday, Prince Khaled also thanked the media who covered the season, as well as those who contributed to serving the pilgrims.
