City of JHB Gives Update On Valuation Process of Properties

The City of Johannesburg’s Stakeholder Manager: MMC for Finance Kutlwano Olifant says a total of 50950 objections were lodged during the inspection period this year.

Speaking to Radio Islam, she said that the objections are currently being considered by the municipal officials in terms of section 51 of the municipal property rate act 6 of 2004.

“We are currently working to ensure that the response to all objectives and owners are received on time.”
