Secretary General of the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa Moulana Ebrahim Bham told Radio Islam that there is a great amount of goodwill in the Ummah, which the Ummah itself tends to ignore.

Ml Bham recently returned to South Africa from trips abroad to Saudi Arabia and Kenya.

He says the number of people performing Umrah, should serve as an indication the Ummah is alive.

“Ask yourself, why the people are coming to perform Umrah in their hundreds and thousands, this is just for the love of Allah SWT and his Rasool (SAW) and they have come in the hundreds of thousands and they have come in their thousands and they have come in their millions if allowed to.

Ml Bham says that people are always criticising and speaking about the negative aspects of the Ummah, why not look at the groundswell of the people who love Allah SWT and his Rasool.
