A South African man living in Syria has described terror group ISIS as the “dogs of hell” urging South Africans not go to that country.
The man who spoke on the condition of anonymity has been living in Syria for the past three and half years under the Islamic State.
In an audio recording in the possession of Radio Islam, the man speaks of ISIS’ deceptive ways and how his son died at the hands of the terror group.
He says ISIS is not Muslim and he has never seen a more deviated group from Islam.
“They actually use deen to totally mislead people and everything they do is against shariah. They actually don’t follow the Quran and Sunnah (teachings of Prophet Muhammad [pbuh]), they lie to the world and say they follow shariah. They steal, they rob, they rape. They do all the things on earth you can think that is evil, you’ll find it in ISIS.”
He says ISIS are the “dogs of hell” and have executed many people for no reason.
“Numerous people executed in front of our eyes for completely no crime and they were Muslim. These guys will come here, just look at you, say you murtad (apostate) and they kill you. In fact we ourselves Alhamdulillah, Allah saved us, we almost had the same experience with these people wanting to actually kill us. Allah made it that we managed to flee from there.”
The man says all the groups in Syria are not fighting for Jihad or for Allah, but rather for power.
“There’s nothing for Allah here. Don’t be deceived at all by that, when you come here than you’ll see. It will be the biggest mistake you’ll ever make to come here.”
He says people scorn the Sunnah in Syria.
“There’s actually zero Islam here. I am with people, I live with them, and they actually make a fool of the Sunnah.”
The man says people should not dream of coming to Syria and living under the Islamic State.
“Stay at home. You have a country that Allah has blessed with Islam. Stay with them and benefit from there. I’ve seen that the only place in the world today that has got still some true Islam today is South Africa.”
The man says he has lived in Syria for three and a half years and claims he can only count a few people in the entire country that are honest and upstanding.
