Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Ghanaian Member of Parliament, Ras Mubarak, told Radio Islam that he was denied entry into Palestine by Israeli authorities.
Mubarak was invited by the Palestinian Authority to give a speech in Ramallah, and had received a prior permit to enter into Palestine which was later revoked.
Israeli Ambassador to Ghana Ami Mehel denied revoking Mubaraks permit in a radio interview following Israel’s decision to bar him from entering the country this week.
Mehl also claims that Mubarak had lied about the incident because he is “a propaganda machinery of the Palestinian authorities”.
“He never asked for a visa … its b******t, its propaganda!”

The MP, who is an active member of the Palestine solidarity movement in Ghana, said in an interview with Radio Islam’s Ml Sulaiman Ravat that it is part of Israel’s strategy to harass the friends of Palestine.
“It is not the first time they have prevented a politician or activist from entering the West Bank.”
Mubarak says it brings to forth the injustices our Palestinian brothers and sisters are going through.
“To think that for them to come to Palestine, they ought to get a permit! That is preposterous.”
