The African National Congress (ANC) has called a special meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Wednesday to discuss the removal of President Jacob Zuma as leader of the country and other issues.
The NWC met at Luthuli House on Monday to get a report back between the ANC’s top six and Zuma on Sunday night.
The ANC says the special NEC will discuss preparations for the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday and a report back from the NWC on matters mandated to it, including management of the transition between the 5th and 6th administration of government and pending actions in Parliament.
