Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a 30-year-old man in a stream in Vlakfontein, south of Johannesburg.
It’s understood residents from extension 2 alerted the police after they found the body yesterday.
The police’s Kalipha Mvula says no arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
“Police proceeded to the scene and on arrival, they found a male whose 30 years old. He was later identified by one of the relatives. The deceased sustained gunshot wounds on the back of his head.”
Mvula says police are investigating a case of murder.
