Saudi Embassy Issues Guidelines to SA Agents Regarding Umrah Visas

November 30, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 30-11-2017

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia has informed Hajj and Umrah operators not make any airline bookings for Umrah applicants before receiving the visa from the consulate.

In a letter to the agents the embassy says passports of pilgrims must be submitted to the consulate well in advance before any bookings are scheduled.

It also says if there are any cancellations of visas, a formal letter should be presented stating the reasons for the decision.

The embassy has also warned Hajj and Umrah travel agencies not to deal with unaccredited pilgrimage offices, failing which they would be banned by the embassy.
