Samsung Introduces New Galaxy J Pro Series Smartphones

Samsung has introduced the next level of its Galaxy J series with the J5 Pro and J7 Pro devices.

The Korean company says the devices are aimed at the Generation Z – those born between 1996 and the present who are watching less television than their predecessors and instead spending all their free time on their phones.

The J Pro series models introduce a sleek design with a body made of metal and 2.5D glass features an Exynos 7870 1.6 GHz octa-core processors and comes in a range of colours.

The Galaxy J5 and J7 Pro series take clear, bright photos. With its bright (rear: F1.7; front: F1.9), high-resolution, 13 MP cameras, it’s especially perfect for taking selfies in low light conditions.

The J5 features 5.2″ 720 x 1280 Super AMOLED display while the J7 Pro has a 5.5″ 1920 x Super AMOLED display – Both have finger print sensors.

Samsung senior manager of product marketing Rui Brits says the Galaxy J Pro series is poised to enable Gen Z’ers to enjoy a smarter life with a phone that has premium Samsung Galaxy range features.

“Samsung wanted to bring our customers a new and exciting smartphone that meets their lifestyles, tastes and budgets.”

The Galaxy J5 and J7 Pro comes in black and gold.
