Three Children Die, Two Critical from Suspected Food Poisoning in Limpopo

Limpopo police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of three children from food poisoning in Mokopane.

Two others remain in a critical condition in hospital.

It’s understood the five children aged between seven and 15 years old, allegedly ate something and subsequently experienced complications and rushed to the Voortrekker Hospital.

Police say on Two died upon admissions while the third one died later and

The police’s Moatshe Ngoepe says the two others are still in hospital for medical treatment.

“Upon arrival at the hospital, three died and two are still recuperating. As of now the cause of the deaths is still unknown but our investigations continue.”
