Samsung Launches “ZackPot” Competition to Bolster Z2 & Z4 Smartphone Sales

November 11, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 11-11-2017

In an effort to bolster sales of the Z2 and Z4 smartphone, Samsung has launched the Zackpot competition where customers stand a chance to win R 250,000 when they buy any of the devices.

Compared to Samsung’s flagship range like the Galaxy 8/8plus and the newly released Note 8, both the Z2 and Z4 are as simple as smartphones get.

Both devices feature a 480×800 pixels LCD touch screen (Z2 4 inch, Z4 4.5inch),1.5GHz quad-core processor, with 1GB Ram, 8GB of internal storage expandable with a micro SD card.

While The Z2 sports a 5MP rear camera, the selfie camera is just 0.3MP. The Z4 on the other hands features a 5MP camera at the front and rear.

Both devices run on the Tizen software, which looks quite similar to Samsung’s customized version of Android.

The Z4’s 2,050 mAh battery is bigger than the Z2’s 1,500mAh and in regular usage, it manages to offer nearly two days of battery life with two active SIM cards.

The Z2 retails for about R1,200 and the Z4 R1,500.

So if you are first time smartphone owner, this is possibly the phone to get with an added bonus of possible winning 250k.

To enter the competition which runs from 10 November to 31 December, consumers have to buy the new Z2 or Z4 smartphone and SMS their names, surnames and IMEI numbers to 40489.

The IMEI number can be obtained by dialling *#06#, or by looking for the white sticker in the phone for the product information, such as model and serial number. The IMEI is the 15-digit number above the bar code.
