Mans Body Discovered in Olifants River in Limpopo After Being Attacked by Crocodiles

October 01, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 01-10-2017

Police have urged the Rakgoadi community outside Groblersdal in Limpopo to be careful when crossing the Olifants River following the discovery of a man’s body after he was apparently attacked by a crocodile.

The man was reported missing last week.

It understood some locals were busy fishing at the River yesterday when they found body parts which apparently belongs to the man.

The police’s Moatshe’ Ngoepe says the cause of death is being investigated.

“The fisherman who were busy fishing inside the Olifants River observed a human head and hand while they were pulling out the net as they were busy fishing in that river. We may not rule out the possibility that he might be eaten by crocodiles.”
