The body of a new-born baby girl has been found dumped in a bag on the side of a street in Three Rivers.
It’s understood a member of the public spotted the body yesterday and alerted the authorities.
Paramedics say on arrival on the scene they were led by authorities to where they found the baby wrapped in a bag.
ER24’s Russel Meiring says local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
“Paramedics assessed the baby and found no signs of life present. Unfortunately, nothing more could be done and she was declared dead.”
