[WATCH] Rohingya Children Situation Moves Ml Sulaiman Moola to Tears

September 22, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 22-09-2017

Islamic Scholar Moulana Sulaiman Moola says he has been left shattered after witnessing a number of innocent Rohingya Muslim children who have become victims of the catastrophic Rohingya crisis.

Ml Moulana is currently travelling with NGO the Al Imdaad Foundation on a humanitarian mission in Bangladesh to distribute much needed aid to Rohingya Muslims.

More than 500,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled Myanmar since the end of August, cramming into ill-equipped camps and makeshift shelters near the border town of Cox’s Bazar.

In a video sent to Radio Islam, Ml Moola is seen holding a baby who is completely malnourished.

Ml Moola says it’s heart-breaking to see that even innocent children have not been spared by what many world leaders have called the Rohingya genocide.

“Allah this is a child, Innocent baby, defenceless, sinless. We’ve just seen this mother and this baby and we were moved to tears. Can you see how malnourished this child is. Can you see the challenges? Wallahi how are we going to answer to Allah.”

Ml Moola will be giving a report back about his trip to Bangladesh with the Al Imdaad Foundation at the Houghton West Street Masjid on Wednesday just after 8pm.
