The family of a nine year-old school pupil from Lenasia who was found murdered say they are devastated by his death.
Keketso Mahlakwana’s body was found yesterday in a veld opposite Lenz public secondary school in Lenasia, extension 11b.
Mahlakwana from flamingo primary was playing outside the school with friends on Tuesday when he was apparently abducted by unknown suspects driving a white mini bus taxi.
Family member Charlotte Mahlakwana has thanked the community of Lenasia for their support.
“We are very saddened by what happened and we thank the community of Lenz that they helped us through this difficult time in finding Keketso.”
The police’s Kay Makhubele says they are investigating a case of murder.
