Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 03-02-2017

Gauteng police say they will be conducting more raids at problematic schools across the province after two pupils in Lenasia were arrested for apparently attending classes under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The two boys were arrested yesterday at the MH Joosub Technical Secondary in Lenasia.

Alcohol and weapons was also found on the premises.

They pupils appeared in the Protea Magistrates court and have been charged with possession of dagga.

The police’s Kay Makhubele says they also conducted searches at two other schools in Lenasia.

“We will be raiding schools from time to time as soon as we know that there are problems at that particular school.”
