Durban Man Nabbed Doing 224km/h

The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has called for a heavy sentence for Durban man who was allegedly caught travelling at 224km/h on the N2 highway through Ellingham yesterday.

The 24-year-old motorist is expected in court in Scottburgh in KwaZulu-Natal today after being arrested for speeding.

He was briefly detained before being released on R 5,000 bail.

The RTMC has also called for the speedsters drivers licence to be cancelled.
