Man Shot Dead in Booysens Johannesburg

A 30-year-old man has been shot dead at a business in Ramsay Street in Booysens, Johannesburg.

It’s understood the man was shot multiples times this morning after confronting his colleague about bringing a firearm to work.

The police’s Lorraine Van Emmerik say the motive for the murder is not known.

“Upon questioning they found out that one of his colleagues had brought a firearm to work. When confronted concerning the firearm, the colleague went and got the firearm and shot his supervisor. A murder docket has been opened as the suspect was arrested.

Van Emmerik says the suspect is expected to appear in the Booysens magistrate’s court soon.
