Police are searching for a group of suspects following the murder of a 76-year-old blind woman in Elsburg on the East Rand.
It’s understood the suspects broke into the elderly woman’s home last night.
The police’s kay Makhubela says the motive for the murder is not known.
“We had an incident last night where a woman was allegedly killed by people who are unknown at the present moment. We have opened a case of murder, but so far no arrests have been made.”
Makhubela says they are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward.
