Hawks Raid Azaadville Home for Alleged Suspicious Activities

The Hawks say they cannot comment about a raid at a home in Azaadville, west of Johannesburg.

Reports have emerged on social media websites that the priority crimes unit raided the home of an Islamic scholar this morning for alleged suspicious activities.

In a text to Radio Islam, Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said: “The investigation is sensitive. We are not at liberty to comment at this stage.”
