Mohamed Ameen Dabhelia- 2016-07-03

Owners of the Lily mine Makonjwaan Imperial Minining (MIMCO) has released report saying the incident at its mine in Mpumalanga is still under investigation.

Today marks 148 days since three mine workers – Pretty Nkambule, Yvonne Mnisi and Solomon Nyerende were left trapped beneath the ground in February when a container used as a lamp room collapsed after a rock fall at the Lily mine in Barberton.

The Department of Mineral Resources has hired various experts to try and figure out a safe way to get into the mine.

However, the situation remains unchanged at the mine.
