Lenasia South Man Murdered in House Robbery

A 48-year-old man has been killed at his home in Lenasia South in what is believed to be an apparent house robbery.
 
It’s understood a group of men broke into the Ivy Street home late last night ransacking the place and making off with several household items.

The police’s Lungelo Dlamini says they are investigating a case of house robbery and murder.

“Before they fled from the scene they shot the owner in the upper body, he died at the scene. Three of the suspects were arrested while they were fleeing the scene and we are still looking for three others. The patrollers in the area also recovered an amplifier in an open veld and it was taken back to the house.”

Dlamini says the man are expected to appear in the Lenasia Magistrates Court soon.
