One man has been killed and thirteen others injured after a taxi rear ended a truck on London Road in Alexandra, Johannesburg.
Paramedics say on arrival at the scene this morning they found the taxi partially wedged beneath the truck trailer.
ER 24’s Russel Meiring says the cause of the accident is being investigated.
“A body of a man was found lying trapped inside of the taxi and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately the man had already succumbed to his injuries and was later declared dead on scene.”
Meirring says 13 other patients were transported to various hospitals for urgent treatment
