Three people have been arrested for being in possession of drugs worth thousands of Rands and running a drug lab in Zakariyya Park, south of Johannesburg.
The trio were arrested this morning after the Soweto crime intelligence unit received information from a member of the community about drugs being manufactured at a house in the area.
The police’s Kay Makhubele said: “The Soweto Crime Squad were following information in Zakariyya Park where they found a drug lab in one of the houses. Three suspects were arrested. They are going to appear before the Protea Magistrates Court facing charges of dealing and also manufacturing drugs.
