Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News, 2015-05-02

Police are still hunting for a group of men who hijacked an 80-year-old man on Wednesday night.

Shamima Darsot said her 80-year-old father Mohammad, along with two staff members from his shop, were travelling home from prayers at 8pm on Wednesday when they were hijacked in Soweto.

After a massive search, Mohamad was found dead in the boot of his car in Dobsonville.

Shamima says the family is still in shock and traumatised by her father’s murder.

She has refuted reports and claims circulating on social media that her father Mohammad was shot…..

“No, no he wasn’t shot because we never found any gunshots wounds on him or anything.”

Shamima says the family is trying to assist the police with their investigation.
