A 29-year-old woman has been shot and killed in an attempted house robbery in Polokwane.
Polokwane Police spokesperson Captain Ntobeng Phala said the husband arrived home between half past five and six o’ clock in the evening and found his wife in a pool of blood.
He said there were no visible signs of forced entry in to the home.
“Following the reports at our disposal is that some robbers entered the house and shot the woman once in the face.”
“A case of murder is being investigated by the Westenburg Police. No one has been arrested and we are continuing with our investigations.”
Captain Phala said nothing was taken from the home.
