TRAIN your Mind to travel Less – Lenasia to Sandton By Train?..DONE!

October 29, 2014

Mufti Moosagie interview with Ejaz Khan on Interview regards to alternative transport from Lenasia to Sandton, in this case, The Nasrec Transport Express

What time did you leave?

Ok so we were set to leave Lenasia at 5:45 am , meanwhile Indian time so we left at 5:58 am.
Imraan Khan our Shuttle driver from Lenasia to Nasrec got us there in good time, Roadworks, traffic delays et al..

What time did you get to Nasrec?

We Jumped off the shuttle at 6:26 and a train was ready to depart immediately at Nasrec Station.

What was the condition of the Metro trains at Nasrec and the facilities?

Contrary to popular (mine included) belief, there was no graffiti on the side, no commuters hanging on the side, the train was clean and relatively new, condition excellent.

They even handed us each a Star newspaper to peruse through as we made our way to Park Station. Nice touch.

What time did you get to Park Station?

We arrived Park Station at 6:55 and took a cool jog to the Gautrain section to make the 7:00 Train… and luckily Ebrahim Moola of Nasrec Transport Express had already sorted our Gautrain cards(shukr),Which made it a seamless procedure getting on and catching that train in short time.

Where was your next stop?

Right so a whole 3 minutes later, we were in Rosebank, where 2 commuters who had joined us from Lenz got off…7:04 it moved on again and at 7:08 am we were in Sandton City…

Just to inform you how quick the journey was , at Park Station I rebooted my tablet and before it was fully operational we were already at Rosebank, so I just put it away. We spoke like 3 sentences from Rosebank and in a flash we were in Sandton, no time for chit chat on the gautrain!

Some may say the journey sounds like a tiresome one?

Not at all, in fact, I’d say it aint tiresome its entirely awesome. When we got to Sandton, the destination in this case, I was not stressed, not tired, just ready to face the day.

And that is the hope and dream of Ebie Moola of Nasrec Transport Express, to give you back your life, one hour at a time, and to increase the quality of your travel, everyday.

Would you do it again?

Of course! And when the Business Train run goes ahead in the near future I’ll be back with Ebie and the other commuter to check it out.

How do people find out more on costs, etc

They can email info@nthexpress.co.za

Or tweet @NTH_express and he will give you all the details you need

Soon we will be having a Race, Car vs Train to Midrand’s Nizamiye Masjid so look forward to that.

With this whole Express travelling,I guess it’s a process that we can TRAIN our Minds, to EXPRESS ourselves better with the quality of our time.
