A 52 year old man from Lenasia, South of Johannesburg has been arrested after he stabbed and killed a 24 year old man outside the Lenasia Police Station on Sunday.

According to the police’s Kay Makhubela, the two men were at the police station to open a case of assault when a quarrel broke out.

“They’ve been fighting since they were outside when one of them took out a knife and stabbed the other one.”

The 24 year old was rushed to the Baragwaneth Hospital by his friend where he passed away.

“We are investigating a case of murder as we had opened a case and we will find out what the motive was for the fight,” said Makhubela.

The 52 year old man will appear in court soon.
