During the month of Ramadhaan 2011, we held a ‘Rebranding Logo Competition’ with our listeners (click here to listen to our 2011 promo ). We offered a free Umrah Ticket to the listener who produces the winning logo. Alhamdulillah, after two years of much deliberation we have finally come up with the winning logo (see below).

The Winner of the Logo Competition  is Brother Mohammad Ahmed from Homestead Park.

DETAILS OF THE LOGO EXPLAINED:

1.  ALIF & HAA – Two Arabic Alphabets, in the logo denoting Tawheed (Oneness of Allah, ‘Alif’) and Hamd (Praises to Allah, ‘Raa’). The two letters combined stands for ‘Radio Islam’.

2. The ‘I’ in the word ‘radio’ and the word ‘islam’ that portray a satellite on the top.

3.  The ‘R’ displays at the bottom  a radio jack symbolizing Radio Broadcasting.
