Pushing investment and inclusive economic growth will be high on the agenda as the BRICS summit looks to facilitate interaction among powerful heads of state, captains of business and innovators at its 10th annual conference between July 25 to 27.
Radio Islam International’s Asia Pacific Correspondent Kiru Naidoo says the BRICS Business Council chaired by Executive Chairman of The Sekunjalo Group Dr Iqbal Survé is a collection of nine established working groups.
“Not just a political gathering that we have in BRICS, but also the trade and investment element that’s taking care of the overall structure.”
The summit next week is expected to be attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin amongst other heads of state and delegates.
