Five people including a 15-year-old teenager have been arrested for the murder of a businessman in Lenasia South.
The 56-year-old man was found dead at his house-shop in extension 4 last month.
It’s understood he was about to close his business when he was attacked by the suspects who assaulted and robbed him before fleeing the scene – his body was found by his sister.
The police Kalipha Mvula says they have been charged with business robbery and murder.
“Among the five arrested are two female suspects aged between 15 and 22-years-old. They have appeared at the Protea Magistrates court and their case has been remanded to the 5th of September. The other three male suspects aged between 23 and 40 are going to make their court appearance next week.”
